PRIMARY FUNCTION

 

Perform a variety of technical, administrative and complex clerical duties in support of the Human Resources Department. Assists in recruiting activities by preparing, submitting, posting and maintaining Career Announcements.  Position may from time to time be stressful and require a high demand of performance. May perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

 

  • Assist with recruiting, hiring activities for applicants; conducts reference checks, maintains historical application filing system
  • Receive and review personnel action request (PAR) and prepare PAR following request
  • Responsible for issuing agency cell phones and emails to new hires
  • Responsible for maintenance of TripLog database
  • Maintain bidding process, vacancy and review of openings for Community Living Program (CLP)
  • Ensure applicant and employee EEO/AA forms are collected and entered into the Applicant Tracking System, track employee actions/training to include employee performance evaluations and certifications
  • Completes new hire paperwork, ensuring accurate completion of all required documents
  • Reviews and accurately enters data into ADP and MITC database
  • Responsible for reports such as Central Registry, SAM/LEIE, Motor Vehicle, Fiscal Report, Monthly Turnover, Vacancy
  • Track annual employee recognition awards
  • Maintain employee Webnews on MITC dashboard
  • Ensures employment applications are received, processed and tracked; maintains accurate job files in accordance with the CCS Affirmative Action Plan
  • Prepares and submits Career Announcements, maintains and updates job postings
  • Assist team members with event and meeting coordination and logistics, which will include: conference room reservations and set up, material prep, training sessions and orientations
  • May drive agency or personal vehicle on company business

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

Suitable work experience may be considered as transferable skills in order to meet minimum requirements of the position and will be considered by the Corporate Director of Human Resources.

 

  • HS Diploma / GED
  • 2 years' experience in a related administrative support capacity
  • Proven skill utilizing Microsoft Office Suite in a network environment
  • Obtain State of Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Valid Arizona Driver License, proof of insurance and Arizona Motor Vehicle Division 39 month Motor Vehicle Report

 

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Associates Degree in related field
  • Additional years of directly related experience
  • Bilingual, English / Spanish verbal and written
