Position Purpose

This position provides administrative and operational support in the senior nutrition program; with an emphasis in the home delivered meal program.  Responsible for route management and coordinate services for all participants in the home delivered meal program according to authorizations or payment contracts.  Works closely with the Site Manager in the Congregate Meal program to ensure meal service delivery meets contractual requirements. Accounts for processes project income received by the Senior Nutrition program.  Works under the direction of the Associate Director and provides day to day supervision to drivers and support staff in the Senior Nutrition program.  In support of the Associate Director does project-based work.  May perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

Maintain Participant files and documentation according to contractual requirements

  • Process authorizations, track and monitor service deliveries and coordinate home delivered meal services for qualified homebound participants
  • Work with outside case management agencies regarding participants' service delivery
  • Complete and maintain reports and distribute to appropriate Agency offices
  • Handle, verify and submit project income received in accordance to CCS & Senior Nutrition Program policies and procedures
  • Track and maintain statistical information required by contracts for monthly reporting
  • Perform general office duties, i.e., courier submittal, agency correspondence, facsimile transactions, make copies, data entry, etc.
  • Monthly Menu development and disbursement to the homebound
  • Supervises drivers and provide administrative support in accordance to contracts and policies
  • Co-facilitate training sessions to staff in the program
  • Attend community meetings beneficial to program services and scheduled monthly staff meetings with
  • Complete meal deliveries according to program needs
  • Drive agency or personal vehicle on company business
  • May perform other duties as assigned
  • Attend trainings required by CCS and contracts

 Minimum Qualifications

 Suitable work experience may be considered as transferable skills in order to meet minimum requirements of the position, and will be considered by the Corporate Director of Human Resources.

  • High School / GED
  • Proven ability to type 40 wpm
  • At least one year of supervision experience
  • Ability to obtain Food Handler's Permit, CPR, First Aide and TB clearance
  • Ability to obtain a Level One Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Valid Arizona Driver License, proof of insurance and Arizona Motor Vehicle Division 39 month Motor Vehicle Report

 Desired Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in related field
  • Additional years of directly related experience
  • Additional years of accounting experience
  • Additional years of report completion experience
  • Additional years of budgeting experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish, verbal and written
