Position: Program Coordinator II

Location: Deaf and Residential Services, Community Outreach Program for the Deaf

The Program Coordinator II provides support to Client Service department and vocational department in services for clients. Duties include case aide, case management, Support Service Provider, and Job Coaching Develops training and supports as identified. Ensures program compliance with established Agency policies and applicable regulatory guidelines, maintains caseloads in accordance with service contract guidelines and assists with program budget development. Position may from time to time be stressful and require a high demand of performance. May perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PROGRAM COORDINATOR II

  • Bachelor's in Rehabilitation, Counseling, Education or related field
  • American Sign Language skills - must be proficient
  • 3 years of experience in Deafblind services
  • Obtain State of Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Knowledge of DDD system, Vocational Rehabilitation, Helen Keller Affiliate Program and National/State funded TA&D projects
  • Background in the area of equipment used for persons who are Deafblind.
  • Pass drug screening
  • Valid Arizona Driver's License, proof and insurance and obtain Arizona Motor Vehicle Department 39 Month report

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PROGRAM COORDINATOR II

  • Master's in Rehabilitation, Counseling, Education or related field
  • Additional years of directly related experience
  • Experience in developing curriculum
  • 3 years of experience in the development of Deafblind supports and understanding of national perspective.
  • Experience in skills and various forms of communication of Deafblind to include Braille.
