Location: Yuma County

We conduct a five panel drug test prior to employment for this safety sensitive position.

Position Purpose

Conducts accounting and administrative functions in support of agency and programs with a special emphasis in Aging Programs. The position is responsible for data entry, authorization processing, billing affairs relating to the contracts, demographic entry, documentation processing and administrative functions to maintain contract and record compliance of the Aging programs. Provides basic administrative support to staff as directed. Position may from time to time be stressful and require a high demand of performance. May perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for documentation processing for compliance with contracts
  • Completion of registration/enrollment process of all new clients
  • Data entry and completion of required reports for contract compliance
  • Distribution of monthly reports to Providers and/or Contractors
  • Completion of telephonic well checks and communication regarding concerns
  • Assists in tracking and maintaining all demographic and billing information
  • Monitors and audits medical records to ensure compliance with documentation standards and compliance with contracts/licensure
  • Works with Program Coordinator and Supervisors in documentation processing to ensure compliance with contracts
  • Support quality management and work with agency, program and contracts
  • May perform general office duties, such as courier submittal, answer phones, greet and attend to guests, and making copies
  • May drive agency or personal vehicle on company business

Minimum Qualifications

Suitable work experience may be considered as transferable skills in order to meet minimum requirements of the position and will be considered by the Corporate Director of Human Resources.

  • High School / GED
  • 2 years of experience in medical records/office administration
  • Proven ability to type 40 wpm
  • Obtain State of Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Valid Arizona Driver License, proof of insurance and Arizona Motor Vehicle Division 39 month Motor Vehicle Report
  • Proven ability to prioritize work and good attention to detail
  • Proven computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong oral and written communication skills that are concise and organized utilizing appropriate style, grammar, and

Desired Qualifications

  • Associates or 2 years post-secondary education
  • Additional years of directly related experience
  • Experience in working in the Regional Behavioral Health or Department of Health Services system
  • Bilingual English/Spanish, verbal and written
