OVERVIEW: The Program Coordinator III - Counseling/Case Manager provides direct services including case management and advocacy for Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Deaf-Blind populations in the areas of life management in community settings, and home residences. Coordinates and facilitates community training and education classes, crisis/emergency services and maintains necessary case records and client file documentation. Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Rehabilitation, Social Work or related field
- Fluency in American Sign Language and various manual communication modes
- 2 years of experience working with Deaf, Hard of Hearing and/or Deaf-Blind persons in a professional counseling and/or case management capacity
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's in Counseling, Rehabilitation, Social Work or related field
- LPC, LISW, LAC or NBCC
- Additional years of directly related experience
AGENCY REGULATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Obtain State of Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and maintain throughout employment
- Valid Driver's License, proof of insurance, 39-Month MVR Report, and safe, reliable transportation
- Pre-employment drug screen (incudes marijuana, regardless of recreational use laws)
